Motivator, mentor, and man of God are just a few words to describe Elder Khayree N. Pender.  Khayree is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he spent most of his childhood.  He and his family later moved to Orlando, FL. where his Christian Journey began.  Upon moving to Orlando, Elder Pender attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Eatonville, Florida under the leadership of Reverend Willie C Barnes.

 

Although initially church was not a priority at a young age, he became active in the youth department and theatrical ministries where he was introduced to the art of pantomiming as a form of worship.  As a result of the passion for pantomiming, Elder Pender along with three other members formed a group thousands know of today as The Mime Boyz.

Because of the dedication Khayree and the others had, it not only became a ministry, but also a brotherhood.  As a mime boy, Elder Pender developed a stronger relationship with Christ and became more focused on the word of God.  After years of ministering through mime, he eventually accepted his calling to preach the word of God.  To gain a more in depth understanding of the word of God, Minister Pender attended the International Seminary School.

 

Elder Khayree N. Pender currently serves as the Youth Pastor at The Experience Christian Center in Orlando, Florida under the leadership of Derrick L. McRae, Senior Pastor.  He has the passion for his ministry and loves mentoring to youth.  Elder Pender is dedicated to encouraging the positive development of adolescent.

 

Elder Khayree N. Pender is the loving husband to Leslene E. Pender and they have a beautiful daughter, Zoë and a son Khayree Pender, II
